Here we go...

I do believe I have a good number of things to catch up on documenting. Here are a few.

We found a turtle while we were on a walk. The kids brought him home, named him Timmy, and took very good care of him for approximately 26 hours before he decided to run away.

Caught this girl reading on the front porch...

AK's friends had a "zoom party" for her since her birthday sleepover was indefinitely postponed due to COVID-19.

Owen wrote me the sweetest note...

Claire had a math challenge to do her number knockout in an unusual position or setting. She did hers in a laundry basket.

School looked a lot different at the end of this school year. Here are the kids in their CC community zoom class. AK took advantage of the situation and did her presentation on a real live chicken.

Claire and AK got into our closet and did their best impressions of the Coach and me.

We had a very minor kitchen fire - like, something fell to the bottom of the oven and burned, and the kids caught sight of the flame. They freaked out (which wasn't helped at all by Spencer who joined in on their screaming just to be funny, but they didn't see it that way) and ran to get their most prized possessions out of the house. Claire grabbed her Bible and scrapbook; AK got her fuzzy blanket. Owen got a tortilla.

We had yummy homemade cinnamon rolls for Easter breakfast.

A few jam sessions have taken place here lately.

Some of my favorite moments are when AK and Owen discover some amazing thing in nature, like an unusual bug or a cocoon.
