Perfectly 2 Months Old

 Little Miss Averi Kate had her two-month checkup this week. Weighing in at 11 lbs 1 oz, she hit the 50 percentile mark on every single measurement - weight, height, and head circumference! Perfectly average - exactly what we are shooting for at this point!

Averi Kate has really started to wake up to the world and respond to people and things around her. She loves to smile at anyone who will talk to her...and especially lights up when her big sister comes into the room!

AK loves to be outside, much like her big sister. Sometimes she likes her passy and sometimes she doesn't. She adores bathtime. When we are out and about she pretty much lives in the baby bjorn (front carrier) and she is perfectly content in it (most of the time). She dances with her daddy almost every night before bedtime.

Sweet girl, we love you! I wish you would sleep longer at night but I still try to treasure those moments when it's just you and me in the rocking chair at 4 am, because I know those special moments will be gone too soon. You are a blessing to us and you make us smile every day!
