Blood Mountain

Last weekend we went on a backpacking trip to Blood Mountain along with Spencer's cousin Scott (and his puppy Missy), Papa, and Uncle Travis. It was our first time as a family to hike in with all our gear and set up camp along the way. It was tough at times but everyone did great and made some wonderful memories.

Walkie talkies were the best idea ever. The girls could run ahead on the trail and still stay in communication with us. They all earned trail names - Longlegs, Pinto Bean, and Oscar Bravo Oscar. Also, Spencer became Shortlegs and I somehow became known as Big Mama.
