Bits and Pieces

The girls have been sharing a room for a while now, but they recently decided they would like to have their own room again. Claire transformed the bunk bed into a loft with a reading nook under it...

And AK did this.

We had a big tree cut down in the front yard, and the kids have been working hard building a house out of the limbs and scraps.

Owen loves to read in bed. What you can't tell in these pictures is that "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man" by Alvin and the Chipmunks was blaring in the background from Owen's record player.

Nan treated the big girls to a trip to the American Girl Store in Alpharetta.

Oh, I'm sorry, I think she meant it to be mostly for these big girls.

In addition to scoring some fun goodies for their dolls, they also got to ride the carousel!

One of Owen's favorite things is to wrestle Daddy. There is also plenty of trash talk involved.

While the girls were at a science event, Owen requested to go to the mall and play in the token machines.

Claire snapped this picture of me comforting AK after some traumatic event, probably involving a toe or finger, as one of those is typically injured at least once a day.
