A Trip to NC, Part 2

After staying with the Stewarts and visiting our old church family at Webster on Sunday, we headed over to Cashiers to meet Dobby and Alan and spend a few days at a timeshare there.

AK's birthday celebration continued...

We took advantage of the cold, rainy weather to snuggle on the couch and watch a movie...

Spencer had fun playing with the features on my new camera...

And the next day, when the weather cleared, much hiking ensued!!!

Aaaannddd...everyone planking.

AK made me a nervous wreck because she was like a monkey and I couldn't keep up with her. Every time I blinked she was climbing up a rock or getting uncomfortably close to edges.

The following pictures are from a hike that was supposed to take about 20 minutes but turned into 3 hours because we didn't want to pay for parking, so we found some obscure path close by that "surely" met up with the other path in "just a minute".

The view from the bottom was totally worth it.
